Celebrate National Avocado Day in PCB

Friday, July 31 is National Avocado Day! To celebrate, we’ve made a list of some of the best places on the beach to get your avocado fix while on vacation. 

Diego’s Burrito Factory has two locations in Panama City Beach where you can find delicious guacamole. Diego’s offers a variety of entree types (burrito, burrito bowl, quesadilla, etc.), each of which you can add guacamole to as a topping or filling. They provide both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot for a quick beach day snack break or a traditional lunch or dinner.

Finn’s Barista Bar & Snack Shack serves an avocado toast that’s hard to beat. The avocado spread is chopped, rather than mashed, and is topped with rosemary olive oil, black salt and chipotle flakes. This unique combination of flavor is what makes Finn’s avocado toast unlike any other you’ll ever have. It’s definitely a must-try when visiting Panama City Beach!

Every breakfast item at First Watch is outstanding, but its avocado toast is the true star. It’s served on thicker bread with lemon and salt on top. It’s served with eggs, which make a great topping for the toast. The menu offers other items with avocado like the elevated egg sandwich or the farm stand breakfast tacos.

Los Rancheros has been around for years and is well known for its authentic Mexican food. The guacamole dip is like regular guacamole but creamier. It’s the perfect appetizer with chips and salsa. It’s across from the beach, so you can grab some to go and hit the beach with the perfect snack.

Lotus Cafe & Juice Bar is the perfect place for avocado lovers. The menu is mostly vegan so avocado is used in almost every dish. It has items like guacamole, a kale avocado salad and a veggie wrap. If you’re looking to mix things up, the goji cacao smoothie includes almond milk, banana, avocado, goji berries and cacao.  

While known for their indulgent breakfast creations, The Pancakery also offers healthier fare like avocado toast served with eggs. It’s a lighter option that still packs plenty of flavor and is ideal if you’re looking for a satisfying start to your day without going overboard.
