Experience a celebration of motorsports history as Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) returns to Daytona International Speedway, Nov. 11–15 for the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona and Daytona Historics. With legendary race cars that competed in some of the world’s most prestigious endurance events, the five-day event offers fans a unique opportunity to experience racing history up close.
The excitement begins on Veterans Day with a special tribute race featuring Ford Mustang race cars and a concert headlined by Zac Brown Band. From there, the spotlight turns to historic sports cars and the Classic 24, which brings iconic racing machines back to the high banks of the “World Center of Racing.” Whether you’re a lifelong motorsports enthusiast or attending your first historic race, here’s everything you need to know before heading to Daytona International Speedway.
Start the Excitement with the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic
HSR kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 11 with the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic, a special event combining motorsports, live music and a tribute to America’s military service members, veterans and their families.
Presented through a collaboration involving Ford, NASCAR, IMSA, HSR and Blue Star Families, the event will feature 12 Ford Racing drivers competing in Mustang Dark Horse R race cars on Daytona International Speedway’s road course.
Six two-driver teams will represent the six branches of the U.S. military: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard. The star-studded driver lineup includes NASCAR stars Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Preece, and Ryan Blaney, along with other familiar names from motorsports.
Adding to the excitement, Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band will headline an evening of live entertainment, with additional performances by Russell Dickerson, Jo Dee Messina, Brittney Spencer and Warren Zeiders.
Know Before You Go: The event takes place Wednesday, November 11, with parking opening at 2 p.m., tailgate activities beginning at 3 p.m. and FanZone access opening at 6 p.m. General admission tickets start at $110, with VIP experiences available. Eligible military members and families can receive discounted tickets through GovX.

What Is Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR)?
If you’ve never attended an HSR event, you’re in for a treat!
Historic Sportscar Racing is a motorsports organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of sports car racing by bringing vintage and historic competition cars back to the racetrack.
Unlike traditional car shows, where vehicles are typically parked on display, HSR events put these incredible machines back on the track. Fans can watch historic race cars compete on the racetrack, hear the roar of their engines and experience the sights and sounds of different eras of motorsports.
The cars are the stars at HSR events, with racing machines representing decades of automotive innovation and competition. Many are similar to, or are actual examples of, cars that competed in prestigious endurance races such as the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, 24 Hours of Le Mans and 12 Hours of Sebring.
From classic Porsches and Corvettes to legendary prototypes and other iconic race cars, HSR offers a look at how racing has evolved over the years.
