The Bay Point Billfish Open is set to return for another exciting year of premier competitive sportfishing held at Bay Point’s Point South Marina on June 23-28. The event will include live music, a boat parade, food and drinks, and some elite sportfishing, with many of the best teams along the Gulf Coast participating.
Like other popular tournaments, the Bay Point Billfish Open will include pelagic giants such as Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dolphinfish, along with Catch and Release categories for Gulf Billfish species. Prize money, combined with optional tournament entry categories has consistently exceeded one million dollars in previous years.
