Enjoy America’s favorite pastime at the minor league baseball park where ground-breaking African-American baseball player Jackie Robinson played in the first integrated Major League Baseball spring training game in 1946. The stadium is a National Commemorative Site and part of the African American City Rights Network. It’s also listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.


The oldest operating minor league baseball park is home to the Daytona Tortugas, the Class A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds that plays between April and September.

The Daytona Tortugas play in the Florida State League and are a Class A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds with a roster made up of Major League Baseball prospects.

  • Sunday evenings are Shelldon’s Family Fun Days with Family Fun Packs, allowing the whole family to see a Tortugas game at a great low rate. Sundays also feature pregame autographs and postgame Kids Run the Bases.

If you want to grab a bite to eat before the game, there are plenty of great dining options in downtown Daytona Beach’s historic Beach Street.


There’s plenty of great choices from Italian dishes at Stavro’s Original Pizza House, sushi at Ronin Sushi & Bar, family-owned Mexican taqueria Tia’s Tacos or pub food and beers at McK’s Tavern & Brewery.
